Audition with us
Recent changes to Animal Welfare regulations and best practice guidelines in the UK are designed to ensure a better experience for our pets.
At MyWaggyTails we take responsibility for the pets in our care very seriously. The 4 main pillars of our business philosophy are built around:-
Safety. Trust. Education & Fun.
For the well-being of every pet, we have a 3 Step Check for every potential new customer before we can accept your pet in to our care. We know it can seem to some as a bit of a faff, but trust me, it is soo important.
1. Provisionally book-in your pet for your chosen service
Make your enquiry or provisionally book-in your pet online.
When availability is confirmed, please complete/update our Pet Information Form (PIF)
eg What date was your pet last inoculated? Is your pet micro-chipped? Does your pet have any behaviour issues? Any history of illness or current ailments?
2. ‘Meet & Greet’ assessment for every new pet
Subject to no issues arising from the Pet Information Form, we meet every new pet and their two-legged guardian for a 45 minutes ‘meet and greet’ assessment, prior to any booking confirmation.
Ideally, this is held on neutral territory.
We may ask questions arising from your PIF, we’ll talk you through our approach, booking process and terms and conditions, answer any questions you may have, and we will be checking on whether we are a good fit. We assess your dog’s suitability for our services with consideration to your pet, other pets in our care and their likely dynamics. We will be wanting to understand your pet’s responses to basic commands and its level of socialisation – both with other dogs and humans. Our primary objective is to ensure we are a good fit for your pet. After all your pet’s happiness comes first.
