MyWaggyTails Launches In Inverness

by | Dec 9, 2019 | Inverness

Hot on the heels of our first franchise launch in Chorley, MyWaggyTails Inverness is now available to Highland hounds, kitties and more.

With pack leader Diane Main at the helm, MyWaggyTails Inverness now brings a fully-insured, first-aid trained and DBS checked pet care service Dalneigh, Ballifeary, Scourguie, Kinmylies, Leachkin, Bught, Clachnaharry, Holm and surrounding areas.

Having worked as a Retail Auditor for many years, vetting food safety and health and safety for big name supermarkets, restaurant and retails chains, a change in management led to a serious dip in Diane’s job satisfaction and subsequently left her questioning her career. A passionate animal lover, Diane originally studied Biology at university before side-stepping into retail but she kept her passion going as a Dog Trust volunteer; so, after a few months of career soul-searching, she found herself coming back to animals. It was at this point, she decided to make the ‘now or never’ decision to embark on a new adventure with MyWaggyTails and we couldn’t be happier to have her in our pack.

Helping pet owners with their day to day or occasional needs, MyWaggyTails Inverness offers a variety of walks from group, adventure hikes, agility and solo specialist walks, as well as pet home care services where Diane will visit people’s homes to care for any kind of pet from reptiles to dogs. She also brings our Friendly Pooch Perfect Pub Walk charity initiative to Inverness, encouraging dog owners and their four-legged friends to join her at some of Inverness’ dog-welcoming public houses once a month, with a £2 donation from each participant to Dogs Trust.

Commenting on her new venture, Diane says: “I’m so happy to have taken the plunge into a new work life as a ‘pet nanny’, where I am wholeheartedly committed to delivering excellent dog walking and pet sitting services. Being able to channel my love of animals for the benefit of other people’s pets is really rewarding and I look forward to giving pet owners peace of mind while they work or are busy doing other things. ”

If working with pets sounds like your kind of career dream, but you are unsure on how to do it or feel anxious about going it alone, we’re here to give you a helping hand (and paw), so you can get going with your dog walking, home boarding or doggy day-care business quickly and smoothly.
