INTRODUCTORY VISITS TO MYWAGGYTAILS
Our new customer ‘audition’ is our 3 Step Check which we use for every potential new customer, regardless of the service you select. It’s our way of checking we are the best fit for each other.
First, following an initial enquiry, the potential customer submits their Pet Information Form which provides basic contact information about you and your doggy.
Second, we will meet you and your canine companion, at a mutually convenient time, on neutral territory or in your home, to make introductions, to talk through the relevant dog service, to ask any questions about your Pet Information Form and to assess and profile your doggy for chemistry and fit – it’s so important that we put your pet’s happiness first.
Third, if all is good so far, we will offer you and your ‘pup’ an initial ‘test drive’ – whether that’s for a walk, day-care or overnight stay. That way we can get to know each other, and make sure we have all the makings of a perfect fit.
Where we provide home boarding or day care, potential new customers are welcome to visit, but at pre-arranged times to ensure the minimum of disturbance to pets in our care and where we are able to evaluate any possible risks.
Potential dog walking customers are welcome, by prior arrangement, to join us on a walk.
DO YOU ACCEPT ALL BREEDS?
We do not accept Pit Bull type breeds or those registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act.
We love ALL sized dogs from the smallest Yorkshire Terrier to the biggest Great Dane.
We provide specific experiences for puppies, smaller dogs, and older dogs to ensure all dogs are happy.
We treat every dog as an individual and do not discriminate on breed type alone. However, our partners naturally have preferences. Some love larger breeds, others prefer smaller breeds.
Inevitably, the partner will consider their existing canine companions, their temperament, age, breed mix and behaviour profiles, whether for a walking, day care or home boarding group dynamic.

WALKING DOGS
Dogs do not require to be vaccinated or neutered to join us on our walks.
They will need to be socialised
Every dog must have received our 3 Step Check ‘audition’ before we can accept them for a booking.
HOW MANY DOGS DO YOU WALK AT ONCE?
We believe that in most cases, dogs enjoy group walks more than individual walks.
However, dogs recovering from illness or an operation, timid or anxious dogs, a puppy or older dogs may benefit from solo walks, and we are happy to provide such services.
We always have a sensible ratio of dogs to a professional walker at any one time, unless it is specifically a 1-2-1 walk. We follow industry best practice and the guidelines provided by the RSPCA, The Dogs Trust and the Pet Industry Federation.
We much regret that aggressive dogs or dogs with behavioural problems cannot be accommodated
DO YOU PROVIDE ANY OTHER SERVICES?
It varies by each Partner and their specialist skills and services. Please check each of our Partner’s pages.
For example, one partner specialises in pet reiki.
We can also take pets to your vet or to the dog groomer.
We also include a home check service and provide a ‘live-in’ option.
All prices for such services are on application.
DOGS WITH HEALTH ISSUES
We are able to look after dogs with any health issues, including diabetes. We are also happy with insulin injections.
ARE YOU OPEN AND WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES AT BANK HOLIDAYS?
Price and availability on application please. Regrettably, we also have to have the odd break.
WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?
DO YOU OFFER PENSIONER DISCOUNTS?
No, sorry. Our services are in great demand and while we make every effort to remain affordable to most people, we are competitive in the areas in which we operate.
